Emergency NHS Works

At short notice Ipswich Hospital Estate’s staff asked R W Hall Flooring to replace 220m2 of carpet with new vinyl and PVC skirting in areas of Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. Ipswich Hospital are occupying a large part of the Nuffield Health facility in order to ensure patient safety and to increase Hospital capacity during this difficult time.

From initial enquiry at 5.00pm on a Wednesday evening we were able to attend site to survey, strip and dispose of existing carpet, to latex screed and complete full installation with skirting and accessories for midday on Saturday.

This was possible due to the excellent dedication of not only our own staff but also estates departments at Ipswich Hospital, management and facilities teams at Nuffield Health and our excellent supply chain. Likewise Group, Gradus and Altro.

Likewise opened especially to supply materials and arranged Gradus products on an overnight delivery; Altro supplied vinyl and arranged delivery next day for a 10.30am delivery. It is worth noting that during this time Altro are supplying enormous amounts of materials to support NHS facilities all over the country. Not only are they changing production plans to meet this demand on short timescales they are also reducing the prices to support the country in its time of need.
